Who We Are

VAKSARA™ is a free English language learning platform built for anyone who wants to speak, write, and communicate in English with clarity and confidence — at any level, from any country.

The name comes from Sanskrit — Vak meaning "speech" and Sara meaning "essence." That combination captures exactly what this platform is about: the essence of communication, taught in a way that is practical, clear, and immediately useful in real life.

Every lesson begins as a YouTube video — taught with a clear American accent — and is extended into a full written lesson here on the blog, with additional examples, exercises, and frameworks that go deeper than the video alone. The two work together: watch to understand, read to practise and retain.

VAKSARA™ is created and managed by S. Dommu, an English language educator and digital content creator based in Andhra Pradesh, India.

With over two decades of experience in English language pedagogy and professional development, the teaching philosophy behind every lesson is simple: "How does a real person actually use this in real life?"

Grammar and vocabulary matter — but only when they are connected to how people genuinely speak and write in workplaces, classrooms, interviews, and everyday conversations around the world. That principle shapes every lesson on this platform.
